After earning a bachelor's degree in mortuary science from Xavier University in 1991, Lincoln Mason completed a year-long internship with Reece Funeral Home. Subsequently, Lincoln Mason became a licensed funeral director at Mason-Lindhart, LTD, where he not only worked under his father’s supervision but also managed the business.
In 2000, Mr. Mason became the fourth-generation owner and operator of Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home. He was involved with all aspects of the business, including its administrative duties. He consulted with client families and acted as a counselor, director, and facilitator. For his work with families and the community, he received the Iowa Funeral Directors Award of Excellence.
Mr. Mason stepped down as the business's owner in 2018 and has established himself as a respected business owner who has built lasting relationships by going the extra mile for clients.
Mr. Mason’s hobbies are planes and piloting. He also enjoys scuba diving and has advanced SCUBA certification. He was a member of the Rotary Club, where he was past president twice. Today, he resides in Arnolds Park, Iowa.
